Thanks to God and His people of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Minot, North Dakota, two families in Anapra, Mexico received the gift of shelter ahead of what has become the coldest and windiest March in recent memory. The eleven-person team from Our Savior built two homes in a week and built beautiful memories and friendships as well. “This was the best experience I’ve had in the six years I have been coming with my church to YLM,” one member of the group explained. They enjoyed the opportunity to build, but also to do so while working side-by-side with members of the recipient families who spent the entire week with them. “Alonso, (YLM’s house building facilitator) is just great!”
