[gdlr_column size=”1/2″]El Paso, TX, USA – Servant event groups that serve in El Paso are housed in the bunkhouse-style dormitory located in the 4.2 acre YLM campus, in El Paso, one mile from the U.S./Mexico border. With every bed occupied, the building sleeps 58. It is also outfitted with laundry facilities, a full kitchen, and a meeting room with couches, a TV, board games, etc. Groups have the option to hire our cook (18 meals are included, with authentic Mexican food for dinner every night) or to prepare their own meals.

[gdlr_column size=”1/2″]Juarez, Mexico – Groups serving in Juarez stay in El Paso as described above and commute across the border to their worksites each day. Although currently unavailable as a safety precaution, there is a dormitory at Iglesia Luterana San Lucas in Juarez. The accommodations are similar to El Paso, but more rustic (yes there is electricity, A/C, and running water!). The bathrooms were updated in April 2010. An additional option for future groups working in Juarez will be Iglesia Luterana Sin Paredes, also located in Anapra. The facility has an ideal set-up for lodging servant events, but needs LOTS of TLC first![/gdlr_column]
