Food, clothing, school supplies, winter jackets, quilts, hygiene supplies, and other items are often donated to YLM so that we can help families and individuals in times of crisis.  Our supplies of these items change from week to week so if you have need, please contact us by calling (915) 858-2588.

Food

Food baskets are available for pick up on Saturdays

Hot Meals are served Monday-Friday from 11:30am to 1pm and Saturdays at 11:30am at 301 S. Schutz Dr., El Paso, TX 79907; building #6.

Food baskets are distributed one Saturday morning each month.  Please call (915) 858-2588 for current schedules and registration information.

Clothing & Household Items

A thrift store provides many helpful options you can browse Tuesday-Saturday from 10am to 2pm.  Vouchers for a free change of clothes are available to the homeless and families after a crisis.  Please visit the YLM office (building #14) to ask for a voucher.

School Supplies & Hygiene Supplies

Registration for School Supplies begins in July each year with distributions taking place in August.  Registration takes place in person at the YLM office Mon-Friday, 9am-5pm.  Please call (915) 858-2588 to learn about current eligibility and registration requirements.

In mid-December each year a special Christmas distribution provides help for numerous families.  Registration begins in November.  Registration takes place in person at the YLM office Mon-Friday, 9am-5pm and certain Saturdays to be determined.  Please call (915) 858-2588 for current plans and registration information.  Please note this program is for the El Paso, TX, and Northern Chihuhua, Mexico communities.

In Chihuahua, Mexico

(Juarez, Anapra, San Lorenzo, Chihuahua City)

Our campus in El Paso, TX, is located in walking distance of the Zaragoza International Bridge.  All the items listed above are available to those who are able to cross the bridge from Mexico into Texas for their own needs or for family and friends in need.  There is also help from YLM for people living in Mexico that cannot cross into the U.S.  Some or all of the same items listed above are available according to the locations, distribution policies and schedules of our partner organizations in Juarez, Anapra, San Lorenzo, Sicachique, and Chihuahua City.  We partner with churches, government agencies, and Mexican non-profits who work hard to help people in need.  If you have need, or know of somebody who has need that cannot visit our campus in El Paso, TX, please contact us.  We are glad to help.
