“Holy Trinity” Lutheran Church
This mission site began in 1996 and is YLM’s largest mission congregation. Rev. Jose Hernandez serves the congregation as pastor, while his wife Blanca leads all the children’s ministries. The new sanctuary was dedicated in July 2003 and currently the space formerly used for worship services is being used for Sunday School classes. In 2010, Servant events from Indiana, Nebraska, and even Canada built new classrooms and a new warehouse to replace the previous one that was crumbling down. The congregation hopes to begin providing daycare services or another form of community outreach during the week. Currently a small snack bar operates after each service to help raise funds for the ministry. They are well on their way to becoming a self sustaining congregation and have launched two of their own mission sites, San Francisco and Saint Peter and Paul. Ministry continues to grow and we see more lives being changed each day in this church.
Sunday Worship – 4:00pm
Children’s ministry and Bible Studies are also held in the San Francisco and San Pedro and Pablo communities on Wednesdays and Saturdays
