Project Description: Jeff will come alongside Juarez Pastors and Bible teachers for three months to help teach the hundreds of children currently attending Sunday school in Juarez.  Of all the needs felt by Juarez residents at this time, the one with eternal consequences is the need for Christ.  Jeff will teach and help carry out YLM’s care for families and children in Mexico this winter.

Background: Jeff was born in Puerto Rico and he was raised in the WI/MI area. His Spanish skills are excellent.  He first learned of YLM through Faith Lutheran Church, Troy, MI, a church he served with in Juarez –the same one that built and donated Iglesia Luterana Sin Paredes to us! His undergraduate degree is in linguistics, and his love of learning led him to pursue several Master’s degrees. As a full time volunteer during the past few years he has rotated between YLM and 2 orphanages–one in Romania and one in Sicily.
