Uplifting Performances in Santa Fe

Each summer, Mariachi San Pablo leaves El Paso to share its joyful music with communities in other parts of the country.  It often serves as an educational time for the group members who have the opportunity to encounter other cultures, visit colleges and universities, and begin to imagine additional possibilities for their lives.

This summer, Mariachi San Pablo traveled to northern New Mexico, and destination anchored by its invitation to perform at the National LWML Convention in Albuquerque.  After leading worship at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Santa Fe on June 18, the ensemble spent several more days in Santa Fe performing, rehearsing, visiting cultural sites such as the Puye Clif dwellings, and spending time in prayer and Bible study.
