Teaching Supplies for Anapra Mission

The supplies were needed and the women in Mexico, who lovingly volunteer every Wednesday and Sunday to feed and teach the approximately 150 children who attend the Iglesia de la Santa Biblia’s activities, were thrilled to receive them.  They were equipped by the gift, but more than that, they were also encouraged.

On May 3rd, members of Zion Lutheran Church, El Paso, TX, delivered several boxes of crayons, paper, markers, and other supplies to Deaconess Rosy of YLM and her team of teachers.  The gift included a large stack of children’s Bible story books. It was a last minute addition to the donation that captured the greatest portion of the conversation among the teachers: Puppets!  A package of puppets had been included as a spontaneous addition and turned out to be an answer to prayer as the teachers had been discussing puppets as a way to better capture the attention and imagination of the children they serve.
