Good Luck and Godspeed Erin

After 3 years and thousands of lives touched, YLM bid farewell to our Servant Event Coordinator Erin Mackenzie.  After graduating from Drury University in Springfield, MO, with a degree in Spanish, Erin joined the staff of YLM in January 2009 as a GEO (Globally Engaged in Outreach) missionary through LCMS World Missions.  Erin quickly fit right in with the staff and proved helpful in far more areas than just the Servant Event program.  She was vital in the creation of our new website, played a big role in the success of the Conversations in Spanish program, and helped out just about anywhere needed, from airport trips at 4 AM to crawling around under a building trying to find a leaky pipe.

Erin has now returned to her hometown of St. Louis Missouri, and will begin working at Concordia Publishing House in the multi-lingual department as an assistant marketing manager.  She has already expressed a desire to bring a group from her home church to participate in a servant event this summer, and we look forward to seeing her on her future visits to YLM.

Thank you for everything Erin, and may God Bless you in all you do.
